Jon P. Wikstrom ’Äì Chairman and CEO/President
Mr. Wikstrom founded the Company through a negotiated acquisition from Chart Industries, Inc. For 12 years he held senior and executive management positions with Chart and Minnesota Valley Engineering (MVE), which was acquired by Chart in 1999. Mr. Wikstrom was appointed President of Chart Applied Technologies in 1999, and during his tenure sales grew from 55 million to nearly $100 million. Cool Clean’Äôs technology was a part of Applied Technologies prior to the Company’Äôs founding. In previous positions with Chart, Mr. Wikstrom directed new product development and technology programs, as well as holding the positions of Director of Marketing and Engineering. Prior to joining Chart, Mr. Wikstrom held positions in the U.S. government stationed at the Pentagon, Andrews Air Force Base, and in Boston with responsibilities including the Chief of the Air Defense Electronics Division, Program Manager for Special Surveillance Sensors, and Financial Manager of the Air Defense Initiative. Mr. Wikstrom is a Retired Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and holds B.S. degrees in Engineering and Economics from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Finance, awarded with Honors, from Boston University.
Dan Schiller - COO/CFO and Director
Prior to joining Cool Clean in 2001, Mr. Schiller was the Director of Development at BMC Industries, a $325 million company engaged in the manufacture of high volume, precision chemically etched products for the high tech, medical, defense, and aerospace industries. While at BMC, he founded two new etching/plating technology ventures. Prior to BMC, he was President of Shellair Industries, an environmental test chamber manufacturing company, which provided systems for HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) and HASS (High Accelerated Stress Screening) of electro-mechanical devices. Mr. Schiller has nine years of technical and manufacturing experience with 3M Company, where he was the named inventor on several 3M-process patents. Mr. Schiller holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota.
Jon Turner ’Äì VP of Product Development
Prior to joining the Company at its founding, Mr. Turner was with Chart and MVE for eight years and was responsible for product development activities in the CO2 Cleaning Division, and was the key inventor in the development of Chart’Äôs CO2 cleaning technology patents. Prior to joining Chart, he served for seven years with the Super Conducting Super Collider project, where he was responsible for various super conducing magnet designs. Mr. Turner is a named author on more than twenty scientific publications. Mr. Turner holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a M.S. degree in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota.
David Jackson - Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Jackson has been a pioneer in the CO2 development field since 1984. He was a Group Head and Member of the Technical Staff as a precision cleaning and contamination control engineer at Hughes Aircraft. He has developed numerous cleaning technologies while at Hughes, many of which have been patented and/or commercialized. Mr. Jackson founded and has been President/CEO of the Deflex Corporation for over 10 years. He is the chief inventor of the vast majority of Deflex patents. David is responsible for the Company’Äôs overall intellectual property strategy as well as early market development activities of precision cleaning and cooling products. Mr. Jackson holds a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University.
Nelson Sorbo, PhD - VP of Distribution & Licensee Support
Dr. Sorbo was a manager of Raytheon’Äôs (formerly Hughes Aircraft) commercial textile cleaning, parts cleaning, and sterilization technology licensing programs called DryWash, SuperScrub, and DrySter for over 20 years. He currently manages the Company’Äôs internal CO2 contract cleaning service for Raytheon and other customers, which is located at the Company's Valencia, California location. He is responsible for developing Cool Clean’Äôs technology support infrastructure and policies, including management of the licensee network and applications research and development programs. Dr. Sorbo has 14 patents. Dr. Sorbo received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Redlands and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
