About Us

Cool Clean Technologies is known for its development of innovative and environmentally friendly cleaning processes and applications using recycled carbon dioxide. Cool Clean is a leader in advanced cleaning and cooling technologies that improve performance and quality while also reducing costs and providing environmental benefits. Cool Clean is focused on providing cleaning technologies and equipment for commercial dry cleaning and for precision machine cleaning and fluid applications that replace environmentally harmful organic solvents with safe recycled solid, liquid and/or supercritical carbon dioxide.

In its technology, Cool Clean uses recycled carbon dioxide. Using recycled carbon dioxide for cleaning and cooling, eliminates the production of fossil fuel based organic solvents and the global warming waste products their fabrication would produce.

Cool Clean’Äôs commercial dry cleaning system includes a distillation process for the liquid carbon dioxide and surfactant recovery and reuse process. The finished clean garments are dry and odor free. Other carbon dioxide cleaning applications that Cool Clean provides through the Precision Cleaning division are fully automatic systems with robotics for high volume production applications such as Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and machined production parts. Proprietary Precision Cleaning technologies use recycled carbon dioxide for applications such as removal of oils from medical devices, particles from electronics and contaminants from special machined parts that are used in spacecraft. Precision cleaning systems use proprietary CO2 composite spray systems in high velocity cleaning sprays produced from liquid carbon dioxide in a patented centrifugal cleaning process.

Cool Clean Technologies cleaning processes are not regulated as they use recycled carbon dioxide that is rated as having zero health hazard, zero flammability and zero reactivity by the Hazardous Materials Identification System.

Cool Clean Technologies has a sustaining competitive advantage with its extensive IP portfolio for the use of recycled carbon dioxide for precision cleaning, machine fluids and commercial dry cleaning to replace environmentally hazardous organic compounds. The company has over 80 patents covering the various phases of carbon dioxide as well as apparatus and process patents in addition to extensive know how in each area.
